#Note/HowTo #Note/Permanent #Routine
[Attention residue](https://www.sciencedirect.com/science/article/abs/pii/S0749597809000399) (context switching) can hinder productivity, and I strive to minimize its impact. I believe in focused work over multitasking and have established a structured review routine to ensure the quality and integration of my notes.
**Daily Review** (End of day):
1. Revisit fleeting notes. Prioritize based on importance and convert as many as possible into permanent notes, ensuring they're integrated into the system.
2. If time is limited or I'm feeling fatigued, draft placeholder permanent notes and tag them with `#TODO`.
3. Upon completing a permanent note for the first time, tag it with `#TOREVIEW` for a secondary review during the weekly session.
**Weekly Review** (Every Sunday):
1. With a refreshed perspective, review remaining fleeting notes, finalize outstanding permanent notes, and integrate them into the digital garden.
2. Examine newly created notes to ensure they adhere to the core principles of note [[Permanent Note Creation|creation]] and [[Linking Permanent Notes|interlinking]]. Once confirmed, remove the `#TOREVIEW` tags.
3. Reflect on the week's learnings, reinforcing knowledge and identifying areas for further exploration.
4. Seek [[Hub Notes Creation|hub notes creation]] opportunities by reviewing the [[Orphan Permanent Notes Dashboard|orphan permanent notes dashboard]].
**Monthly Review**:
1. Reflect on the month's key learnings and identify overarching themes or patterns.
2. Spot gaps in your knowledge or areas ripe for deeper exploration.
3. Backup and sync notes to ensure they're safe and accessible across devices.
Periodically review and refine this routine to adapt to evolving needs and ensure the optimal management of the digital garden.
